I'm amazed how much photography--particularly the sharing of images--has changed since I first started shooting Kodachrome slides in the early 1980's. Back then, sharing photographs involved hosting a slide show once or twice a year in which a handful of people would view far too many pictures at one sitting.

The internet greatly expanded the reach of the photo sharing process. Since I created this website three years ago, over 38,000 people have browsed through these pictures. Citizens from 131 countries (and 6 continents)--including Pakistan, Israel, Greenland, Tanzania, Iran, Ukraine, Sudan and Cambodia--have visited the site. I am anxiously awaiting my first visitor from Antarctica!

I plan to continue updating this site with fresh images, so please check back often. Over the past year, my travel destinations included Death Valley, Las Vegas, California's Bay Area and southern Utah. During August, I enjoyed spending a couple of days at the Illinois State Fair in Springfield. I plan to visit Florida in January and the Adirondack Mountains of New York in August.
